Position: Assistant Manager - Business Startup (Contract)

Contract: Period: 11 months

Located: Pasir Panjang

Salary: $2,800 to $3,450 per month

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Mon to Thurs) & 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)

JOB SCOPE:

Responsibilities:

• Handling of day-to-day enquiries, tech showcase and compile progress reports.
• Scout, source and identify potential startups, incubation programmes and showcases.
• Engage with prospects and provide basic advisory and support to startups on facilities and programmes.
• Organise and implement plans for outreach, attracting and onboarding of new startups to join the community.
• Support programme lead in driving startup-related programmes including working with startups, local and overseas partners to develop and execute startup growth-focused initiatives and incubation programmes.
• Collect post-event/ programme feedback, analyse and present insights to improve and focus on those initiatives that can value-add to the startup community.
• Create and build up a bank of innovation success stories involving startups and corporates.

• Minimum Diploma or Degree Holders in Business, Marketing, Communications and Social sciences
• Strong in business sense, analytical and communciation skills
• Adaptable, detail-oriented and organised, with good project management abilities
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and be able to take initiative to implement programmes effectively
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team
• Keen interest and passion to work with and grow local startups
