To realise this vision, MOHT's mission is to design and implement innovative solutions essential for the desired health system transformation. The Corporate IT office supports MOHT's programme teams and members in the planning and delivery of key shared services - e.g. hardware, software, communications. Duties: Manage, drive and enhance Corporate IT Admin services for MOHT: o Admin-related support processes and support covering asset, service and user on-boarding and off-boarding, ensuring inventory and timeliness of supplies o Manage information technology and computer systems (Windows & MacOS, hybrid cloud) o Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and data operations o Manage IT staff (internal, external) by recruiting, training and coaching, communicating expectations and appraising their performance o Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures o Ensure confidentiality, security integrity of MOHT IT assets and services o Act in alignment with MOHT needs in contribution to service strategy and efficiency o Identify problematic areas and implement optimal solutions in timely fashion o Audit systems as necessary and assess their outcomes o Preserve assets, information security and control structures o Manage vendors, third-parties and commercial-related management for above Assess feedback and performance to establish, improve, and refine services Consult and support in IT financial planning and spend management Expect to scale up to serve as the subject matter expert on various areas and become a correspondent available resource for the team and organisation Provide guidance and training to support adoption of key ITSM processes Review and identify root cause for all escalated service requests and use this information to improve continuously within IT teams and connected stakeholders Oversee and execute as necessary any supportable and valid resolution to issues that may require escalation beyond normal process Lead, consult and support in preparation for MOHT corporate audits related to IT services Collaborate with IT planners and related committees on key enterprise IT initiatives Ensure IT specific change management and compliance processes are adhered to by stakeholders, in developing, managing and tracking activities and deliverables Undertake any other relevant duties as assigned Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree qualification is preferred At least 5 years of experience working in the equivalent IT operations and administrative roles, inclusive of 2 years' leadership and managerial experience Relevant experience and competencies with a proven track record of managing both external and internal IT operational teams Firm grasp on IT Service infrastructure and operations best practices Good interpersonal, people engagement skills with a strong service mindset is key Technology literacy and problem-solving is key Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills is key Clear and concise oral and written communication is preferred Determined, resourceful and adaptable individual with the ability to thrive in ambiguity Good resource and task management skills with motivated self-starter mindset Experience in service management, service delivery, and/or process management Determined, resourceful and adaptable individual with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, both as team leader and individual contributor Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration and planning tools Why Join Us At MOHT, you can look forward to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of Singapore's health system.
