Job Description


Support CSO/ AVP Sustainability to implement group-wide sustainability strategy with a full embedment of Sustainability into the organization. This includes research and analysis used to develop corporate sustainability strategies to ensure that business practices, products and services are environmentally friendly, socially responsible and fully compliant with strong governance.Support key sustainability workstreams including:
(a) Corporate Sustainability Reporting: in accordance with SGX and international reporting standards & frameworks such as GRI, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol accounting standards, International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS S1 & S2 standards, Task Force on Climate- related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
(b) Double Materiality Assessment process including targets and metrics setting
(c) Climate-related scenario analysis including physical & transitional risks and opportunities
(d) Scope 3 GHG emissions inventory development
(e) External Assurance of Sustainability ReportCollaborates with and influence business units and support units to embed sustainability to form part of the business strategy, plus measuring performance against metrics and targets set. Enable the business to implement sustainability initiatives via sharing best practices, latest information on trends, regulations and technological advancements.Promote and raise awareness on the organization\'s sustainability philosophy, framework and targets to internal and external audiences.Global Trends & Developments in Sustainability Legislations & ReportingResearch and be kept updated on global trends in sustainability reporting standards and ratings (such as S&P, CDP and MSCI) that are relevant to the Company and its group of entitiesStay updated on relevant Sustainability legislations (including but not limited to SGX and Australia NGERs) to ensure full compliance in the markets we operate inConduct benchmarking of sustainability reporting best practices across peers and industry leadersFramework embedment and sustainability initiativesSupport the team in its Double Materiality Assessment and Climate-related Scenario Analysis process.Support the re-establishment and embedment of the revised Sustainability framework, targets and metrics, providing guiding business units and related support units.Assist to develop relevant procedures and guideline documents to deliver on the Sustainability framework and targets; and Group Environmental Policy requirements.Track performance against metrics and targets: Track the ongoing performance in engagement with the businesses against agreed metrics to ensure achievement of targetsSustainability Reporting: Manage sustainability reporting requirements of the Group including supporting the external assurance processCommunicationsAssist in raising sustainability awareness through knowledge sharing, education and training across all levels within the organisationSupport the development of materials/ content to consistently communicate sustainability achievements internally and externally to build credible, positive brand reputation and position the company as a leader of SustainabilityJob RequirementsAt least 3 - 5 years of experience in Sustainability/ Climate Change consulting, Corporate Sustainability and Reporting or related experience.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Google Workspace is an added advantage.
