Assistant Manager is responsible for the following functions:
Managing and troubleshooting Exchange Infra including but not limited to O365, Intune, certificate, Sharepoint online, Trendmicro IMSVA
Effectively providing day-to-day Microsoft on-prem Exchange, O365, SMTP email operational support to internal customers covering all Servers and Mail Relays
Providing cross-over with other team members as appropriate to deliver a consistent support function
Provide technical support on major projects undertaken
Involvement in implementation discussions working with non-technical stakeholders
Identifying and driving opportunities to improve automation for the company; scoping and creating automation for deployment, management, and visibility of our services
Vendor engagement for troubleshooting
Daily monitoring and acting on alerts
Provide second level end user support/managing ticket queue
Creating and maintaining documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Configuration Documentation, & Policy Documentation
Provide support to audit, hardening requirement and resolve any vulnerabilities
Conduct regular upgrade and security patching of the servers, appliance and equipment
Mentoring junior IT and helpdesk personnel
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualifications
Good working knowledge of Exchange 2016 and O365
Good working knowledge of MDM Intune, Sharepoint online
Experience with working directly with vendors on new features and roadmaps
Experience with security hardening of the Windows Server operating system, as well as Exchange to meet security compliance requirements
Ability to identify / prioritize tasks and work independently without micromanagement
Excellent written and interpersonal communication and documentation skills
