DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager / Manager (Procurement Strategy)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Comments
The incumbent will be an integral member within Procurement Strategy team. Working closely with Product leadership team and category management team, he/ she will be driving strategic agenda in areas such as 1) Category Assortment

  • Drive integrated analytics and insights of market, consumer, category performance to identify assortment optimisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to formulate robust recommendations
  • Project manage to ensure on time in full delivery of opportunities, proactively track, highlight issues for early intervention and problem solve with respective teams.
2) Margin management
  • Drive margin management analytics and strategy vis-\xc3\xa0-vis multi-channel, customer value proposition and insights, category strategy and assortment
  • Partner the business in prioritising, executing, monitoring and reviewing margin opportunities
3) Value Chain
  • Drive market insights and diagnostic of value chain to establish long range business plans and value creation for Procurement
  • Enable stakeholders to make decision with end-to-end data, establish business drivers by looking at business in totality
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to frame decision points, size business impact and create robust business plans for management decision making.
  • Project manage to ensure delivery of business plans
4) Supply Resilience

  • Develop sourcing strategy and programmes with stakeholders to enhance supply resilience across key categories
  • Proactively identify risks for action planning



QUALIFICATIONS
Job Requirement
  • Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Data science/ Mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 of years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Financial Analysis, or Strategic and Business planning preferred
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills
  • Track record in building quantitative data into easy to understand reports/dashboard for decision making
  • Knowledge in data analytics/management tools such as Python, R Studio, Tableau, SQL a plus
  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proactive and comfortable working with and guiding large group of stakeholders
  • Meticulous, attention to detail and willing to learn attitude
