Job Description

Position: Assistant Manager - Ops (Travel) and Lead Associate Ops
Location: Bridgetowne - Exxa Towers
CTC Budget: upto 52k Package

  • Manage team performance, provide effective coaching and constructive feedback to subordinates, performs administrative tasks for Operational support
  • Managing staff development and welfare, administrative tasks
**Qualifications**
Education:
High School Degree or GED (Must)
College Degree (preferred)
IATA certified (preferred)
Any other travel school/ college/ institute certification (preferred)**Required Qualification: **
Excellent fluency in English - Proficiency & Comprehension (spoken and written)
Accent neutral verbal communications to support customer-facing Voice services as needed
**Must have 3 years' team management experience serving US, UK customers on phone / chat and Email**
**Minimum 2 years of Sabre and Amadeus working experience a MUST, must be adept at the latest versions of both GDSs**
**Prior experience a MUST in performing ticket issuance, reissuances (exchanges), deep SME in fare rules, schedule changes, name corrections, MCOs, Residuals etc. (same as above, highlight the complexity)**
Critical thinking with the ability to assess customer need, collect all data points to determine best solution and options
Ability to multi-task while effectively communicating with partners/customers
Ability to handle/diffuse difficult or irate customers effectively; ability to set expectations and deliver information in a positive way
Ability to coach team to provide an experience and interaction that reduces customer effort and creates loyalty with customers
Independently driven to learn new applications, technologies, skills and a self-starter
Professional airline partner/customer service skills: solutions mindset, helping nature, passion for the customer and the customer experience
Highly organized and detail oriented with a very strong focus on process, trends, and root cause analysis
Additional information
**Must have: **
**3 years' experience in a customer service role (Air travel domain with GDS) servicing US, UK customers
2 years end to end experience in ticket issuance, reissuance, MCOs, Residuals, Air Schedule Change and Name Corrections (maybe more detail on complexity, i.e. calculations, complex itineraries, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of GDS experience - Sabre and Amadeus
