What the role is
The ComCare and Social Support Division (CSSD) oversees policy, operations policy and service development matters for low-income and vulnerable groups. Our division focuses on individuals or families facing financial difficulty, multiple needs or complex issues, with the aim of supporting them towards achieving stability and resilience.
What you will be working on
In this position, you will assist in reviewing financial assistance schemes and developing measures to improve financial stability for low-income families.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with other divisions within MSF and across agencies to develop and review measures supporting low-income persons/families.
• Assist in reviewing operational guidelines for ComCare policies to streamline processes and improve support for low-income persons/families.
• Undertake policy research, policy communications or data analysis work on a project basis.
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualifications or work experiences related to the social sciences or other relevant fields.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the social service sector or in policy formulation.
• Ability to engage government agencies and partners (e.g. non-profit agencies, academics).
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
