DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager (Indirect Procurement - Non-Technology)

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is part of the non-tech indirect procurement team. The candidate will assist in all procurement operations activities to ensure compliant purchases across the relevant social entities (SE). The candidate will support users in helping them to understand and comply with all relevant policies as well as frameworks. Additionally, the candidate may also be required to perform any ad-hoc requests to facilitate the function and growth of the team. Operations Management

  • Lead and motivate team. Support category leads in initiatives to drive savings.
  • Develop, implement and maintain procurement operational procedures. Evaluate and ensure it is operating effectively and in compliance.
  • Validate purchase requisitions to ensure that the quotation is accurate and the technical and commercial specifications are in line with project requirements
  • Release purchase orders and liaise with vendors for any follow up actions
  • Resolve delivery, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
  • Track operational metrics/performance and monitors against department KPI and delivery results
  • Assist with monthly preparation of reports and templates (eg. savings report, recharge template, etc)
  • Conduct procurement app trainings to users and approvers
Service Management
  • Manage queries relating to Travel. Liase with travellers and Travel Agency for resolution.
  • Assist in collection and compilation of spend data from key vendors as assigned.
  • Training to endusers on requisition matters and policy compliance.
  • Onboarding new vendors by adhering to the procurement policy and process.
  • Other administrative tasks as and when assigned/required to ensure purchases can be carried out smoothly, timely, and in compliance.
  • Serves as Procurement team lead for upgrades and major changes with the financial system as it relates to Procurement Processing, including testing, and evaluating new technology.
