DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager (Internal Audit) - IT
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be part of the Internal Audit team to facilitate internal IT audits. Job responsibilities are as follows:-
- Align and implement internal audit strategy and ensure departmental key performance indicators are achieved at all times.
- Assist in drafting annual IT risk-based audit plans.
- Manage the internal audit projects assigned and perform internal audit reviews as planned.
- Review audit projects and prepare audit reporting to the Management and assist in preparing summary of audit report to the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Examine the systems of internal controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine weaknesses, exposures to risk and develop remediation strategies.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
- Articulate and discuss control issues/gaps and corrective action plans with stakeholders and auditees.
- Where appropriate, provide consulting services in key IT and business projects to assist Management in meeting its business objectives.
- Validate and track management\xe2\x80\x99s remediation for audit issue closure.
- When outsourcing or co-sourcing of IT audit projects, work with Audit Management to define the scope, manage the audit vendor in the execution of audit fieldwork. Including coordination of audit schedule, meeting and resources, review of outcomes and reports, ensuring audit work provides appropriate assurance and completeness in scope.
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects which may include investigation, due diligence and advisory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably Information System/Computer Science and Engineering, from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant/recent experience in audit, cyber security, risk management or IT functions.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, etc.) are preferred.
- Data Analytics skill and proficiency is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
