1. Job title : Assistant Manager (Asset management business sales / Relationship Manager )

2. About the Department A) We are an asset management company under the umbrella of MUFG, one of the largest integrated asset management groups in Asia Pacific, but since our main customers are in Japan, we are planning to expand our customers overseas.

B) Specifically, it plans to convert our Japanese equity funds into UCITS and sell it to overseas investors, mainly overseas institutional investors (financial institutions).

C) Therefore, our overseas business is in the initial stage, and the products and strategies that can be practically sold are currently limited to Japanese equities, so to stabilize the business, there are many difficulties are expected.

D) We are looking for people who can stably focus on business expansion and development of potential customers in such a challenging situation in the initial environment.

E) On the other hand, under the name of MUFG, we have the opportunity to work with the world's leading SWFs and financial institutions, and with third-party organizations that specialize in UCITS (management companies, admin companies, platforms, lawyers, etc.). Collaborate with them to provide an opportunity to learn about Market Intelligence around the world

3. Outline of duties : In order to promote investment in our products (mainly Japanese equity UCITS funds) from Southeast Asian investors centered on Singapore, we will contribute to collecting investor information, making proposals for business expansion, and increasing the AUM of our products.

4. : A) Use various sales tools to contact the current customer list (about 70 companies "including potential") by phone or email to grasp investment needs.

B) In the "MAS List" (about 500 companies), contact financial institutions not included in the above customer list and expand the potential customer list.

C) Among them, find a financial institution that is interested in our services and products, and connect them to interviews with strategists and portfolio managers at the headquarters.

D) Collaborate with headquarters personnel to close deals and contribute to increase AUM.

6. Job Requirement A) Bachelor Degree in any discipline

B) With minimum 1 year of experience in Asset Management (AM) marketing or business development

C) Excellent customer skills and a strong sense of initiative, drive and ability to work under pressure to meet and exceed the goals

D) Able to work independently, possess good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player

E) Preferably with proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese to work closely with Japanese stakeholders in the related unit or division in Japan Head Office
