You are required to provide administrative support for all individual product lines in New Business Underwriting (NBU).
The Job
Working effectively with team members and various internal departments, ensuring the service standards including TRTs and level of accuracy of the daily transactions processed are met
Register, verify and update amendments of new business applications
Assist team lead to guide the admin staff, monitor case status in DotSphere imaging and core systems
Service counter enquiry
Attend emails from intermediaries, external and internal customers, on enquiries and outstanding requirements/ actions related to policy issuance
Handle and resolve feedback/ issue on cases raised by the reps
Provide critical liaison and build strong business relationship between NBU and distribution channels
Prepare and follow up on medical report, clarification on medical examination result and process
Identify process gaps and manage process improvement within the NBU administration team
Manage changes and enforce governance through providing overall guidance to staff on business deliverables; including managing staff resources, managing internal work-streams interdependencies
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Ensure all team KPIs are achieved
Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices
Qualifications
Our Requirements
Diploma or Degree with at least 4 years of insurance related experience or in an administrative capacity
Team player and ability to work under pressure
Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
