Job Description


What the role is:Assistant/Deputy Manager/ IT Services (Client Platforms)What you will be working on:

  • Operations Management - Part of a team overseeing the operations of the Microsoft platforms, such as Power Platform tools (e.g. Automate, Apps, BI) and Co-pilot family suite of products. As such, there is a need to be familiar with the platforms and be able to work with the internal TP teams in customizing the platform to deliver new capabilities. Implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect client data and systems.
  • Project Management - As a Project Manager for concurrent projects, staff will be involved in project life-cycle implementation, working with vendors/partners/internal team members, users, and supporting teams to ensure the successful implementation upon rollout. Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) technology, and general end device solutions (e.g. virtual desktop) will be important in this role.
  • User Management - Support end users in terms of requests related to operational or project matters. As such, there is a need to be familiar with the end-user and backend environment, and technologies implemented and assess potential impact, making sense of the issues encountered and propose possible solutions to overcome the issues.
  • Organisation and Department team player - Work closely with internal teams to ensure that standard operation procedures are up to date and adhered to; follow up on issues arising in areas such as ensuring there is a process in place especially for new workflows/automation scripts created, tracking of usage, provisioning of new users to end-user\'s platforms.
  • Technical competency - Good technical understanding of Microsoft platforms, ability to troubleshoot technical problems, explore and recommend new IT infrastructure technologies to enhance overall IT infrastructure capability.
What we are looking for:
  • Qualifications in Computer Science or related fields with at least 10 years of IT working experience, of which at least 5 years of IT service management
  • Proven project and user change management skillsets.
  • Possess good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Good verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant industry certification(s) such as ITIL4 certification, ServiceNow certification, Microsoft Desktop administration, Microsoft Teams administration, or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
