Assistant/finance Manager (perm, Tuas, Immediate)

Job Description


:

  • Assist Finance Manager in the daily operations of finance department;
  • Oversee project costing, attend review meeting and to ensure up to date information is presented in month end closing;
  • Support periodic cash flow update, budgeting, forecasting to the management;
  • Review accounts payables, accounts receivables, petty cash claims and ensure compliance to company policy and regulatory requirement;
  • On a monthly basis, gather and analyse financial information on the company and project level;
  • Respond to management queries arising from monthly reporting;
  • Provide guidance to subordinates on accounting matters;
  • Liaise with external auditors to conduct annual audit on the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall annual financial report;
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in accounting or other professional qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role;
  • Organise and meticulous;
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experience in construction industry will be a value advantage;
  • Proficiency in Epicor will be an added advantage;
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially excel.
