The role primarily focuses on ongoing asset management responsibilities, occasionally involving ad-hoc investment tasks. We are looking for a candidate experienced in commercial asset management, specifically in commercial and retail assets. This is an individual contributor role within a team comprising executives to directors, reporting to the Senior Vice President. They prefer candidates with local experience to align with the team\xe2\x80\x99s localised working style, as extensive foreign market experience might lead to cultural differences. Strong analytics and financial modelling skills are required, ideally from a banking background at a Senior or Analyst level in investment.

Some of the key responsibilities will include

• Develop business strategies and assess potential business opportunities in the Southeast Asia region.
• Foster the expansion of the real estate portfolio by establishing relationships and aiding in the identification of new investments and business prospects.
• Create and execute a robust business plan for sourcing acquisition and investment prospects, encompassing tailored strategies to attain short and long-term growth and profitability goals.
• Formulate and propose vital capital recycling approaches, then implement selected strategies to enhance portfolio returns.
• Collaborate with local teams to oversee the entire investment process, including origination, research, deal assessment and structuring, financial analysis involving financial modelling, and deal negotiation and execution.
• Supervise real estate projects in Southeast Asia to generate consistent and sustainable returns.
• Direct regional research and benchmarking activities to inform strategic investment and asset management decisions related to the asset portfolio.
• Prepare management reports and materials for board presentations.

• Possess a degree in Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of pertinent work experience in Singapore and/or regional real estate investments.
• Exhibit resourcefulness and possess a sharp analytical mindset.
• Showcase expertise in business and finance, with a strong command of financial analysis and modelling.
• Possess a solid understanding of financial products, and any experience in business development, development management, or commercial property investments would be advantageous.
• Display exceptional leadership qualities, proactive initiative, a strong grasp of business and finance concepts, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
