Job Description

We are looking for high calibre candidates with background in paralegal in a corporate setting to take on a dynamic scope of work which involved assisting in daily business matters from strategy to execution. You will have opportunity to work closely with both the board of directors and sharehholders in developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives and organization wide projects.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Assist in screening counterparties for international sanctions compliance with internal stakeholders.
• Preparation of legal documents and correspondence including drafting, reviewing, and revising documentation.
• Provide holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across the organization.
• Advising on legal aspects of company strategy and businesses function (procurement, marketing, operation, logistics, corporate reorganizations, M&A, and corporate governance).
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties, including solicitors and regulatory bodies when required.
• Assist in preparing information to the board of directors and shareholders.
• Working on any other tasks as assigned by the CEO from time to time.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Passionate incumbent with at least 2 years experience in law firm, company law department or corporate contract administration and with Corporate Governance exposure are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of company law requirements.
• Up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Knowledge of international company structure as well as international sanction regimes will be an added advantage.
• Have business judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Familiar with working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-growing and challenging environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills to deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines.
