Blending decision science, brand, and strategy to build a valuable connection between our clients and their target audiences, the Associate Director will support clients in achieving their desired outcomes aligned with clients' strategic goals and Blackbox's financial KPIs (revenue and margin commitment) and will be expected to: Develop and assist to design a strong multi-disciplinary team, to grow commercial research and development Develop and maintain open-channel communication with all levels of clients to create and foster trusted working relationships to provide an impactful solution to clients' business issues Prepare and/or review and finalized draft designs (i.e. questionnaires, analytic plans, reports, presentations) prepared by team members Translate data to insights, create compelling stories, and powerful synthesis of findings to drive high-impact business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations Drive issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations and consultative storytelling to the clients Inspire team and build positive team experience with active engagement in driving team spirit Enable efficient resource management to ensure timely delivery and meet quality expectations Stay abreast of the latest developments in market research and constantly suggest refinements to current processes and approaches Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities Acquired a degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Math, or a related analytical field 8+ years of working experience in research consulting or marketing services Excellent customer service and management mindset Proven analytical and quantitative skills with strong business acumen Have a track record of business development with clients and proven ability to drive business within a team Possess good knowledge (across sectors) and established client relationships and networking skills Demonstrated cross-portfolio collaboration with strong written and verbal communication, planning, and project management skills with individuals at both peer and management levels Creative, solution-oriented with the drive to see plans through to implementation as well as can deliver content and key messages at scale Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment Critical Success Factors and Key Challenges Engage quickly and effectively with key functions and stakeholders, supporting effective implementation of new business development and business design strategies.
