The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as Associate, Marketing & Communications, Asia Pacific to support the growth of LaSalle's brand and business.

In this role, you will deliver best-in-class executions across a broad spectrum of marketing and communication disciplines, for a region that covers Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Australia and Singapore. To fulfil this purpose, you will be a brand advocate who engages effectively with all levels of the firm. You will also be able to balance multilevel (global, regional, market) demands with sensitivity while delivering results or solutions well-aligned to business objectives.

You are self-starting, highly organised and ready to take ownership of your assignments. In turn, you will have an opportunity to shape the evolution of the LaSalle brand and make a significant impact as a key member of LaSalle's Global Marketing & Communications team.

The role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Keep abreast of LaSalle's business objectives and stakeholder priorities, as well as industry and macroeconomic developments
  • Support the realisation of LaSalle's brand strategy, ensuring our visual identity and narratives are effectively and accurately represented internally and externally
  • Run point on internal communications and facilitate external communications across the region (originate content, coordinate with stakeholders, collaborate with PR and media relations agencies)
  • Support creative development/adaptation
  • Manage events and sponsorship engagements
  • Support marketing operations - day-to-day maintenance of content, marketing project plans and calendars, as well as vendor management
Essential requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing or communications role, preferably in an in-house setting at a professional services firm or financial institution, agency experience a plus
  • Experience in an Asia Pacific regional role
  • Fluent written and spoken business English, business proficiency in Chinese and/or Japanese a significant plus
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and common enterprise services including Sharepoint and Zoom
  • Applied knowledge of visual design
  • Strong project management skills
Desired requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Interest and working knowledge in real estate, private equity and financial services a plus
  • Digital first, with experience with a wide range of marketing technology and services (Hootsuite, Poppulo, Talkwalker), content management systems (Wordpress) and project management tools (Monday.com)
  • Experience in management of in-person and virtual upscale events
