What the role is
Working in the Finance Services Department, you will be responsible for the following: • Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month and year-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and prepare management reports • Review of work processes for system enhancement and internal controls • Lead in the preparation, consolidation and submission of the annual asset replacement value returns for asset insurance • Liaise with departments and agencies on returns and submissions • Provide advice and support on financial matters • Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits • Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities: • A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience • Independent, hardworking, positive and highly motivated, flexible and resourceful • Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time • Proficient in MS Office applications Applicants will be updated on the status of their applications within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
