One day you'll be organizing an ad industry event in Bangkok or Agency C-Suite networking get together in Manila (and all the logistics required naturally) The next week, you'll be publishing GrabAds linkedin post on latest consumer insights on Ramadan shopping trends and briefing moderators and speakers on their upcoming panel You might be negotiating on better sponsorship entitlements for conference sponsorship in the morning and approving awesome cool swag designs after lunch, then meeting with video editors to finalize a superslick sizzle reel in the afternoon You are the kind of person that loves closely with many many internal and external stakeholders - always on top of timelines, budgets, and keeping everyone honest and running to schedule You're charming as hell when you need to be. And a strict school teacher when the situation calls for it. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute customer-delighting marketing programs that drive awareness and leads for GrabAds across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia amongst key advertising decision makers at brands and agencies Engagement/Activation -work with local sales in-country teams to identify and calendar-plan key virtual and face-to-face customer events appropriate for lead generation, recruitment, and brand awareness and support local sales teams with event materials, presentations, and content where relevant Develop repeatable end user lead generation activities including roadshows and sponsorships Case studies - oversee development of local success stories providing content for formal case study creation Maintain good connections and rapport with strategic industry partners - these can be industry associations (IAB, DAAT, MMA), trade media, Marketing award franchisees, etc Vendor management, budget reporting, cost management and pricing negotiation of marketing activities for GrabAds marketing team Direct the internal creative team, as well as outsourced videographers and content writers to ensure smooth delivery of the right marketing material Responsible for ensuring consistency in the GrabAds brand, product messaging and channel activation, and quality control in marketing collaterals - while working with different local vendors in each country Assist in localizing & editing of Partner News-ensure appropriate content for regional market Translation review and localization of corporate assets Maintain quarterly and annual activity management/ reporting and self-initiate improvements over time This job will require medium travel across the region - 1-3x per month You Are Someone With: EXTREMELY strong project management skills, strong multitasking (ball juggling) ability and detail orientation - someone who values independence and accountability and never gives stakeholders a reason to try to micromanage you Even a healthy dose of 'project paranoia' - you pride yourself on your superpower of pre-empting 'what could possibly go wrong' and fix it ahead of time, even before anyone else thinks to ask you 3-4 years prior experience in B2B marketing or channel marketing - ads / tech marketing not mandatory but a plus as sometimes you'll need to reinterpret complex technical jargon into engaging simple messaging Video and Event production experience - you know the steps, you know what looks and sounds good and recommend what's possible within specific time and budget constraints Ability to build trust and rapport with cross-functional peers, customers, ad industry strategic partners and trade associations Self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented and a strong sense of accountability, teamwork and passion (not mandatory) but these would be skills you'd need to be willing to pick up quickly: Experience with database management, marketing operations (Marketo, Pardot, etc) and CRM tools including Salesforce Portfolio of local vendors and providers of services and goods across SEA you have experience working with and would immediately like to onboard as GrabAds vendors B2B-specific Marketing skills i.e. building creative and effective presentations, white papers, email marketing, longform copy, networking socials, etc. Able to travel up to up to 10 days a month (SEA only) when required
