This role sits within the Travel Experiences business of Collinson that manages the Priority Pass brand which provides access to over 1,200 airport lounges globally as well as an increasing range of other travel experiences such as in airport dining. Consumer demand for our Travel Experience solutions is growing significantly and increasing the opportunity to leverage value from the data that these consumers provide.

The BI and Insight Lead will oversee the support of commercial, partnership, product, and finance teams worldwide with data, reporting, and insight requests. They will manage and prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders and act as a crucial point of contact between the analytics team and the wider business, championing the use of data and promoting the team\'s values.

Their focus will be on producing and sharing impactful information that can positively impact the

business. They will educate and support stakeholders in utilizing internal and external datasets to make informed decisions, creating insights and stories that are both easy to understand and detailed enough to drive change. To be successful in this role, the BI and Insight Lead will need to possess a combination of technical and interpersonal skills to deliver customer-centric global solutions effectively.

Key responsibilities:

  • As a BI and Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of BI & Insight analysts, ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality insights and reporting solutions that meet business needs
  • You will leverage your strong technical skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization to provide guidance and mentorship to your team, helping them to develop their skills and grow in their roles.
  • You will also be responsible for analysing large data sets to identify trends and insights that inform decision-making, leveraging your deep understanding of data and your ability to manipulate and interpret it in meaningful ways.
  • In addition, you will bring creativity to dashboard and visualization design, with a track record of creating visualizations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build narratives and stories from data, presenting insights in a way that drives action.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and technology advancements in data analysis and visualization is crucial, ensuring that the organization stays ahead of the curve.
  • As a leader, you will need strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams to understand data requirements and support data-driven initiatives.
Knowledge skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in designing and implementing compelling visualizations and solutions using BI software like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau (Python desirable), with a proactive approach towards driving changes independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to understand and identify the business needs and questions behind the data.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects and solutions within specified deadlines and requirements.
  • Familiarity with project management processes such as the Kanban method and Jira
