We currently have an exciting position for an experienced Proposal Manager with Mechanical Engineering or others with experience in handling FPSO topsides modules, Combined Cycle and knowledge of Siemens Energy Gas Turbines to join our Bid Management team in our Singapore office supporting the global Sales effort on Integrated Systems & Modules. The responsibility of this position applies to one or more Siemens Energy Industrial Applications activities, which include Combined Cycle Power Generation Plant and Offshore Modules. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge and experience with Siemens Energy Gas Turbines for Oil & Gas projects and with added advantage of having experience in Combined Cycle / power generation industry.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop Proposals as a technical lead for Siemens Energy Industrial Applications customer/client base (which includes offshore oil & gas customers, LNG plants, etc.) by reviewing client's request for quotation (RFQ) and perform equipment selections including drivers and auxiliary, using company or other engineering tools developing the most optimized solution(s).
• Prepare outside purchase equipment (OPE) RFQ(s) and work together with the regional/global supply chain manager(s) to engage and align for a compliant offer.
• Responsible to lead overall cost integration and analysis with consideration for technical and commercial risk assessment prior to arriving at final Pricing.
• Assist the Sales Managers in developing Technical and Commercial strategies for the successful implementation of the Order Capture Process and participate in the development of quantified value propositions.
• Follow the RFQ to Order process and its pre-established gates / screens including order entry and handover to Operation(s) for successful execution.
• Identify cost or time-saving opportunities within the proposal development process or stemming from Non-Conformance instances and implement process improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering degree from an accredited higher education institution.
• Experience in rotating equipment (i.e. gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, motors, etc.) in either design, application engineering, front-end / detail engineering or installation and commissioning.
• Experience in Combined Cycle Design for modules or Power Plant will be an added advantage.
• Team player and works well with others in a team environment.
• Domestic and international travel is required to support training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick-off meetings.
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills. Proficiency in the English language, bilingual and international experience is an advantage.
