We are currently working with a leading international engineering consultancy which is expanding aggressively across the region and is looking for a BIM Engineer (Security) to join its team in undertaking a broad scope of projects across the group and be based in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the design process and specifications for integrated electronic security systems, encompassing components like video surveillance, electronic access control, and intrusion detection.
- Understand security concepts and collaborate with other security specialists to translate these concepts into comprehensive designs.
- Grasp project deliverables and contractual requirements, aiding project BIM leads in formulating and managing project BIM execution plans.
- Manage and actively contribute to centrally maintained models or drawing sets. - Coordinate systems and associated networks with fellow design team members, adhering to client requirements and local best practices when applicable.
- Support other security specialists in BIM/CAD-related activities, including information security and dissemination.
- Assist project BIM leads in handling incoming and outgoing project models and drawing information, ensuring accurate maintenance of all deliverable content.
- Advocate for best practices in BIM project design and delivery processes. Identify opportunities for enhancing quality and project delivery, developing automation routines to enhance productivity.
- Contribute to the establishment of an efficient and commercially viable Resilience, Security, and Risk practice in our Singapore office.
- Collaborate with security specialists in the Australasia region and beyond.
- Work in tandem with the Resilience, Security & Risk team leader, team members, and other teams globally to ensure successful project delivery.
- Actively participate in the preparation and delivery of detailed tender submissions and presentations.

Key Requirements:
- Possess recognized tertiary qualifications in engineering, architecture, computer science, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of pertinent industry experience in the building/construction sector, preferably within a security consulting business environment or a security systems integrator.
- Demonstrate expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) authoring platforms such as Autodesk Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks.
- Exhibit proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) authoring platforms, including Autodesk AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Familiarity with programming or visual scripting languages like Python, Grasshopper, and Dynamo is essential.
- Maintain a strong interest in the latest developments in security technologies, encompassing both electronic and physical security.
- Effective communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical environments.
- Proficient in written communication and report writing.
- Ability to maintain personal effectiveness, especially during periods of increased workload.
- Strategic thinking ability with a knack for formulating innovative plans and solutions.
- In-depth understanding of customer needs, both internal and external, with a strong capability to manage issues affecting effectiveness in a commercial environment.
- Ability to stay positively motivated and foster team spirit, even under significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
- A drive to excel and consistently deliver high-quality results.
