Brand Marketing Manager Southeast Asia

Job Description


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Translate the brand compass into brand activities including creating marketing plans to increase brand awareness and ensuring brand presence in our various channels
  • Develop a strategic plan to grow brand awareness/advocacy & drive incremental exposure for our key products while bringing brand DNA to life
  • Shape and implement marketing projects, including partnering with other commercial teams on specific initiatives, in support of brand objectives
  • Lead initiative and influence brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer and brand data and insights
  • Analyze and review brand and competitive performance to offer recommendations to increase effectiveness of plans and identify opportunities for growth
  • Represent marketing within their cross functional teams against the development and deployment of key brand initiatives and activations
  • Monitor brand expenditures and manage the advertising, campaigns and broader marketing budget
  • Scope, plan, and deliver external and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the area of responsibility
  • Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommend changes for future brand activit

Experience
  • Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Marketing / Communications / Advertising.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, with good understanding and exposure in various marketing channels
  • Substantial experience in marketing activation / brand campaign execution
  • Proven experience managing and developing a small team

  • Passion for brands and desire to leave a mark. Bring a mindset of purpose and sustainability into product and communication development
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner
  • Proven analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, good at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong business mindset
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management
