Your role

• Incident management (Analysis; bridge with 3rd level teams; incident follow up; communication with business users until resolution of issue).
• Provide production oversight during Asia operating hours.
• Acquire knowledge of changes or newly implemented applications / processes within domain of responsibility to enable the provision of effective user support.
• Perform daily control checks to ensure applications are running effectively.
• Work alongside users to build relationships, understand how they work and seek opportunities to improve effectiveness.
• Provide training and coaching to employees on applications supported.
• Ensure consistency with each of the business lines in terms of application support.
• Ensure proper documentation of processes, tasks and procedures.

Your profile

• Minimum 1-3 years’ of relevant experience working in the Asset Management or Banking sector.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience in client facing roles.
• Strong communicator and capable of working under pressure and tight datelines.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of business flows for order placement, order life-cycles, trading and middle office processes.
• Basic understanding of financial instruments (Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities & FX).
• Proven ability to recognise and escalate issues to management / 3rd level support as appropriate.
• Basic database querying skills.
• Good understanding of the FIX Protocol would be a plus.
