About Dealcierge

Dealcierge is a newly formed SCV-backed fintech based in Singapore that is building a M&A Deal Origination Platform (the "Platform").

Dealcierge has applied to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (\xe2\x80\x9cMAS\xe2\x80\x9d) for a Capital Markets Service License (\xe2\x80\x9cCMSL\xe2\x80\x9d), which is expected to be issued in the coming months.

The Business Analyst for the Venture will assist all operations and ensure business processes are set up in a sustainable and agile way to support the Venture in all phases from product development, go-live, run and expansion. You will assist with providing business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution.

Responsibilities

Overall

• Project planning, execution, follow ups
• Interface with relevant stakeholders to overcome obstacles to implementation
• Lead with the preparation and communication of high-quality and timely submissions of materials for the Venture to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Assist in the budgeting and financial analysis for the Venture
• Assist in managing various projects and initiatives and undertake ad hoc thematic work for the Venture Lead / CEO and the Operations Lead / COO
• Assist in developing overall business strategies of the Venture
• Set up governance cadence and assist with regular senior management and board meetings and ad hoc meetings including any follow up actions
• Develop efficient business processes to support the growing business.
• Take active lead regarding set-up of risk management framework, policies and standards
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Venture Lead / CEO and Operations Lead / COO

• Effectively engage Dealcierge and SCV stakeholders across functions
• Strong communication skills, ability to tailor ideas to required audience and stakeholders
• Possess a driven, can-do attitude and proactive in supporting stakeholder engagement
• Comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 teams and functions
• Build strong and effective relationships with the various technology and business counterparts
• Some experience in co-ordination of multiple dependencies and stakeholders in complex, large scale deployment environments

Governance

\xc2\xb7 Work with multiple stakeholders to establish applicable risk / control framework to ensure that the Group\xe2\x80\x99s ability to remain within risk appetite is not materially threatened

Our Ideal Candidate

\xc2\xb7 2+ years of experience in project management or in similar capacity

\xc2\xb7 Motivated to address the impact of innovation technology in M&A and deal making advisory services, especially for smaller transactions and smaller clients who currently lack access to such services

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in corporates and ideally start-up environment

\xc2\xb7 Strong project management, analytics, problem-solving, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills

Role Specific Technical Competencies

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

\xc2\xb7 Experience of running large complex projects in a start-up environment is a plus

About SC Ventures

SC Ventures (\xe2\x80\x9cSCV\xe2\x80\x9d) was established in 2018 with the purpose of \xe2\x80\x9cRewiring the DNA in Banking\xe2\x80\x9d by bringing three distinct areas together:

\xc2\xb7 The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in Standard Chartered (the \xe2\x80\x9cBank\xe2\x80\x9d) by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech\xe2\x80\x99s through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas.

\xc2\xb7 The Investment Fund (\xe2\x80\x9cFund\xe2\x80\x9d), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies (\xe2\x80\x9cfintechs\xe2\x80\x9d) whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group.

\xc2\xb7 Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models (\xe2\x80\x9cventures\xe2\x80\x9d), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets

There are c.65 team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Bank\'s support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco.
