Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of risk, compliance and governance standards, policies & related initiatives according to the book of work and ensure they are in line with the leading industry practices of financial services or FinTechs and regulatory expectations
  • Prepare, manage, update and maintain all the necessary artefacts as required (e.g. strategy roadmaps; standards/guidelines/policies etc)
  • Perform risk evaluation across the value chain process including the assessment of compliance expectations and financial crime compliance and information & cybersecurity risk
  • Assist in the implementation of risk incident management process including registration of issues and events, managing and delivering risk incident reports
  • Support and coordinate performance/benefits reporting, budgeting and forecast processes including monitoring of risks against risk appetite limits and thresholds
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including third party vendors as required from an independent risk and governance perspective
  • Responsible for researching, compiling, and maintaining special reports, presentations, contact details, organisation charts, etc.
  • Use data i.e. KPIs, SLAs to help advise the teams on changes, best practice, simplification or harmonisation
  • Coordination and administration of activities including program management to support the CRCO and COO
  • Prepare status reporting as required
  • Ensure that all submissions to the Board and committees are of right quality and are timely

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing a range of support functions & demonstrating leadership skills with the ability to improve organisational effectiveness
  • Risk, governance, compliance, information & cyber risk, internal or external audit and/or relevant change management/transformation experience will be advantageous.
  • Proficient with MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Visio & Excel
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organizational’ s goal
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to thrive in a quick-paced environment, multi-task & deliver to tight deadlines
