Business Analyst

As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will use your extensive business knowledge, analytical and relationship skills, strategic mindset, and programme management discipline to help drive the build-out of the function as well as support the broader department and organisation objectives. You will partner, coordinate and drive progress across global teams and different business areas as well as partner closely with key stakeholders and colleagues around the firm.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. WeaAEURA(TM)re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally can request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?

• Operating as a central point of contact and escalation for trading, finance, operations, and technology for daily trading issues
• Ensuring that all trading activities are completed within agreed timelines
• Managing trade life cycle events
• Providing key support to the validation of daily trading P/L & B/S
• Resolving internal and external client issues
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business colleagues across trading, Finance, Operations and Technology
• Identifying and accessing opportunities for process development and improvements
• Assisting with the implementation of strategic deliveries for the business from an operational perspective

What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:

• Degree educated or equivalent qualification
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end flows and control points along the process chain, particularly in the Rates (Cash and Derivatives) Middle Office space.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Our office is in Marina Bay Financial Centre, which has been carefully crafted into a aAEURAoecity in a gardenaAEURA.
