Business Controller will be responsible for collecting and studying data to determine costs of repair and distribution as a basis for business decisions. These include analysis of materials, inventory, subcontracting cost, labor cost, overheads, operating variances, product pricing and profitability. He/She will also collaborate closely with Operations and Regional & Central Finance personals at the Business Line level to optimize operational costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations on continuous process improvement of inventory control, cycle counting, engineering change order process, and inventory transactions as well as participate in, reconcile and analyze cycle count program
  • Provide accurate and timely KPIs with detailed analysis for the presentation to the stakeholders in order to support business decisions, including P&L and B/S.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting process
  • Review and develop standard work to ensure variances arising from purchase prices and work orders are investigated, and any necessary corrective actions are implemented
  • Analysis of financial data and assess relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of applying past financial performance to future standards
  • Responsible for the accuracy and reliability of intercompany transfer pricing (includes Royalty and Warranty), through analysis and working with operations on continuous process improvement of operational KPIs reporting
  • Identify and initiate process improvements in financial planning and reporting systems
  • Perform various financial analysis/scenario studies
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of month-end closing requirements in SAP and monthly reporting of results including analysis of the drivers of results.
  • Provide oversight and auditing of operational over/under activity variances throughout the year.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate requirements and good business practice, and ensure inventory controls are working effectively.
  • Be accountable towards financial integrity, strong controls and transactional activities, including SAP daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with manufacturing analysis experience, including experience with bills of materials and variance analysis
  • Good understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles
  • Strong analytical skills and impeccable business judgment
  • Ability to problem-solve while coordinating projects, communicating changes and monitoring progress
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Strong ERP and financial system (SAP) background preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Power BI, including the ability to create, modify and ensure accuracy of complex spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, for effective interaction with all levels of company personnel
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain strong controls environment.
  • Detail-oriented, strong adaptability and a team player
  • Highly motivated and energetic personality, with desire for hands-on position.
