Business Development Manager

The role will report to the Business Development Director. The successful candidate will be

responsible for seeking out and developing new business, with a consultative approach to

selling.

Key Responsibilities

? Generate leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects

? Developing growth strategies and plans

? Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients

? Have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of business products, value proposition

? Craft business proposals

? Identify areas for expansion, business strengths and customer needs

? Research on business opportunities, profitable channels and streams

? Develop both short-term and long-term business strategies

? Create weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management and end of month reports on revenue and market performance

? Deliver against these targets to ensure revenue expectations are met

? Work closely with the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects

? Provide input for sales and marketing collateral - how the business positions itself for various audiences

? Maximise networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events and

trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts

Key Requirements:

? Minimum 3-4 years' experience within Business Development/New Business or Account Management role

? A recognised Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

? Excellent communication and presentation skills

? Excellent time management, an individual who thrives on working autonomously

? Experience working in a marketing/agency/ media environment and understanding of (and passion for) the industry

? The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic
