JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Instigate and lead business development activities for assigned accounts to achieve assigned order and revenue targets. Strategize account planning activities in collaboration with the account service team to identify growth opportunities. Develop consultative relationships and a deep client understanding to drive organic account growth Keep up to date with industry trends and initiatives to support strategic account planning and ensure proposals are innovative and relevant Facilitate, in conjunction with other key stakeholders, Master Services Agreements and preferred supplier status with all key accounts as appropriate Manage and coordinate RFI and RFP process, prepare detailed proposals and budget estimates and manage client and procurement negotiations whilst maintaining profitability Prepare detailed proposals and budget estimates and manage client and procurement negotiations whilst maintaining profitable growth of the business JOB REQUIREMENTS A Degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a scientific subject preferred At least 5 years of key account management experience ideally in a medical communications agency, medical education provider, pharmaceutical, or equivalent environment. Sales-oriented with a proven sales track record, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare or media industry. Experience in product management or marketing function is a plus Digital savvy with experience working with clients on multi-channel communication and engagement Possesses financial and business acumen Strategically minded with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities Apply online or feel free to contact me directly for more information about this opportunity.
