Job Description


Meta is looking for a high caliber individual to join the APAC Gaming Business Operations & Planning team. This is a key opportunity to drive and execute on Go-to-Market strategy in partnership with Sales leaders for our largest region within Meta Gaming . The ideal candidate will be passionate about Meta and intellectually curious and a fast learner, be able to work independently and be comfortable with ambiguity, whilst keeping focused on high impact projects. The mission of the Business Planning & Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the sales and marketing organization – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. This role will be a senior member of the Gaming business operations team, working closely with the Director of SEAPAC Gaming business.


Business Planning & Operations Lead, GBG Gaming, SEAPAC Region Responsibilities:

  • Ownership over operational rigour and end to end sales ops for Meta Gaming SEAPAC (RMG, Korea, Japan, India, SEA, ANZ)
  • Revenue operations and performance tracking for Gaming Sales team
  • Portfolio management
  • including client segmentation, setting of quarterly quotas/targets for Sales team
  • Setting strategic direction in partnership with Sales team including reviews and prioritizations of ongoing initiatives
  • Driving annual strategic planning for SEAPAC Gaming including resource asks and execution planning
  • Lead business reviews to evaluate progress and identify opportunities for strategic and operational improvements
  • Identify, scope and drive regional / local critical projects and initiatives and drive alignment with with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Translate global initiatives to regional / local priorities and help drive alignment
  • Solving for key business problems using data and analytics
  • Using internal and external datasets for detailed analysis to drive business insights for decision making
  • Modelling optimal scenarios for resources needed to drive growth, including market opportunity sizing, Meta product focus, org design
  • Cross functional collaboration and teaming on major initiatives
  • Stakeholder Management and being a trusted thought partner to the Sales leads
  • Conduct regular training on process and policy related to Sales operations
  • Develop strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and partners across the company, including leading cross-functional task forces on major projects
  • Process improvement to drive efficiency and new ways of working
  • Identify opportunities for automation and other efficiency levers
  • Execute on change management and process changes that can be scaled centrally
  • Demonstration of strong operational rigour in driving strategic priorities and projects
  • Beyond SEAPAC coverage, lead select APAC wide and Global workstreams for select strategic projects and analytics for the Gaming organisation



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience of leading strategy and operations projects within an established Sales Ops team, Corporate strategy & planning, or a top-tier consulting firm
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
  • Strong commercial / business acumen with strong understanding for revenue drivers, forecasting, and performance management
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization and strong communication / presentation skills
  • Comfortable with managing large data sets and working with broad range of analytical toolkits
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience extracting data from large/complex databases
  • Knowledge of SQL, Salesforce and Tableau
  • Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools
  • Experience in tech sector especially online advertising space is a plus
