To ensure that all goods purchase are bought at the most competitive price and assist in the monitoring deliveries of items between Suppliers (Local & Overseas) Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to Company needs Identify new suppliers, agree on terms and negotiate supply agreement where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates Foster close working relationships with associated departments like Operations, Warehouse and Logistics Departments Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spending To carry out a comprehensive review of the Purchasing function and its methodology, identify and to implement improvement To maintain complete updated purchasing records / data in pricing system using A-Z Pos including Sales Reports and Book value Schedule Store visits and conduct competitor survey Planning and manage inventory levels of products ordered and stored in Warehouse Study & analysis buying related weekly and monthly reports Marketing survey & price checking Coordinate on Customers' Orders, Bulk Orders progress (quotation, delivery & follow-up) Support functions liaison Any other Ad-Hoc duties assigned by Management Requirement: At least 1-year of buyer working experience Willing to work on Sat half day (once every three (3) weeks) Preferred who has been working in the retail chain Able to communicate in Chinese with Retail Assistants and Vendors/ Suppliers who are from China APPLY if you are a good match.
