Cafe Supervisor
to join our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering warm and memorable service experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
Supervise the cafe's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth service flow during peak and off-peak hours.
Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and overall cafe upkeep in line with company standards.
Team Leadership
Lead and motivate cafe staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff roster.
Train and guide new team members on service standards, product knowledge, and operational SOPs.
Support management in conducting regular team briefings and performance feedback.
Customer Service
Maintain a strong floor presence and provide attentive service to guests.
Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Uphold Lou Shang's customer experience values--warm, approachable, and community-focused.
Inventory & Sales
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for ordering supplies.
Support the cafe manager in tracking sales, wastage, and operational costs.
Assist in driving upselling initiatives and special promotions.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards are met.
Follow SOPs for cash handling and POS operations.
Requirements
Prior experience in F&B, preferably at a supervisory level.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Passionate about local food culture and cafe dining experiences.
