As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and decorating cakes according to customer specifications and our company standards. Your key responsibilities include:
Decorating cakes with intricate designs, using techniques such as icing, fondant work, piping, and sugar crafting.
Collaborating with clients to understand their cake design preferences and translating them into finished products.
Preparing and mixing various icings, fondants, and other decorative elements.
Ensuring that all decorations meet quality and aesthetic standards.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Keeping up with current cake decorating trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
Assisting with inventory management by tracking supplies and ingredients needed for cake decoration.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cake Decorator, with a strong portfolio showcasing various techniques.
Excellent artistic and creative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using different decorating tools and materials.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and understanding their needs.
