Job Description

:You will be based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia to shoot and video edit a variety of deliverables as required by the bureau correspondent and headquarters in Singapore.Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:o Advising on and carrying out optimal technical setup for filming and production, including, but not limited to, shooting with different types of cameras, location lighting and location sound recordingo Operating LiveU, BGAN or similar bonded cellular/satellite deviceso Managing and maintaining technical equipment including cameras, video editing facilities, LiveU/BGAN/similar bonded cellular/satellite devicesYou will work closely with the bureau correspondent and other bureau staff, as well as desk editors, producers and assistant producers at the headquarters in SingaporeYou will be required to travel to other parts of Malaysia and outside the country as neededYou will be required to work in different environments and situations, e.g. disaster zones, high-risk areas, protests etcQualifications:Requirements :Diploma in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronic, Film Sound and Video or Mass Communication.At least 1 year of relevant experiencePossess basic knowledge of non-linear editing and file transfer protocolGood team player and prepared to work on irregular shifts including weekends and Public HolidaysAbout Us:Mediacorp is Singapore\'s largest content creator and national media network, operating a suite of TV channels, radio stations, and multiple digital platforms.
