Leads capability development approach in APAC in close partnership with functional leads and OpCo leaders
Manages the annual capability gap identification process across the APAC, supports local markets in their capability identification and facilitates the Asia Pacific Leadership Team capability discussions as part of the annual strategic planning process
Translates regional capability priorities/ business needs into a capability building strategy
Ensures the respective execution for the regional-consistent business capabilities
Manages the capability building activities across the region and coaches local markets in the ongoing deployment
Acquires/ leverages innovative learning solutions to increase effectiveness within the region
Establishes a goal setting and measurement process to track capability building impact on employee development and business results
Coordinates the internal training resources to deliver the adequate programs
Manages the external vendor relationships for trainings
Develops and executes business role-specific leadership development solutions that are not covered by the enterprise leadership curriculum
Reassures alignment of locally relevant capability building efforts with regional programs
Ensures strong partnership with human resources

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred
A minimum of 10 years work experience required in areas like leadership/ strategy consulting, organizational development, senior human resources or in a business role with focus on executing regional capability building efforts in a market
Proven success in working with operating companies and translating local capability needs into regional learning solutions is critical
Experience in the pharmaceutical market environment is preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills as well as the proven ability to navigate and lead through influencing in a complex, matrix-organization is a necessary skill.
A demonstrated ability to partner and work with multiple agencies/vendors, manage budgets and projects, cross-functionally, cross-geography and with cross-company teams of high-level managers and executives is required
An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required
