Job description Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are looking for an opportunity to lead and build up a Capital Raising or Business Development team? Formative Search is partnered with a reputable fund in Renewables to search for a Capital Raising and Business Development Lead to fundraise for their equity side of the business in Asia.Responsibilities

• Spearhead the continuous implementation of capital raising efforts and work closely with the global capital raising team and senior investment team in Asia.
• Facilitate strategic partnerships with investors and potential LPs, and evaluate and structure capital alternatives.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with investors, both current and prospective, comprehensively understanding their appetites and processes.
• Oversee the full cycle of fundraising processes, and facilitate discussions with investors and stakeholders.
• Drive capital raising and investor relations activities in target markets such as Indonesia, India, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, etc.

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in private equity or infrastructure funds with a focus on renewables.
• Strong network with private or public banks, pension funds, insurance, family offices, etc.
• Proven track record in capital raising in emerging Asian markets in renewable energy.
• Experienced in managing the full investor onboarding process including sourcing, developing, negotiating and closing investment opportunities.
