Channel Partner Manager

Location Singapore, Singapore
This position will focus on identifying and recruiting key partners of the industry ecosystem from the region, working closely with the Project and Marketing team lead to execute plans that produce mutually beneficial and meaningful partner relationships and ultimately generate growth for the events. Primary responsibility is to acquire and build a robust partners channel to increase project market reach and accelerate partners recruitment and effectiveness. Work with partners to establish our event as the de facto platform for sourcing of solutions & partnership in their reference architectures, industry offerings with supporting internal promotion and marketing activities. The role will work closely with the Project & Marketing team to build and execute targeted activities including but not limited to events, trade shows, webinars, roadshows and business meetings locally and internationally.

  • Focus on building and managing strategic relationships with relevant channel partners that help to scale the potential growth of our events in the APAC region especially ASEAN
  • Work with our partners to define their strategic directions and identify viable collaboration
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with partners to build strategic alliances
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and trends in order to apply creative thinking that will ensure a competitive edge
  • Proactively research, identify and approach prospective partners that led to an increase in project vitality
  • Prepare creative and made-to-measure business pitches or proposals to secure potential partners
  • Undertake cost benefit analysis on proposed partnerships to ensure positive return for the project
  • Take ownership of the development of events and activities of prospective and existing partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute project initiatives, develop and recommend work plan to ensure timely and quality deliverance; capable of juggling multiple projects and priorities
  • Intensive travels required; keen interests and willing to travel to meet with partners, clients and internal stakeholders, attend events and support field teams on site eg. roadshow/activities


Job Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Channel/partnership management role, experience in MICE industry is a bonus.
  • Strategic marketing capabilities, including: customer needs and value proposition discovery, industry landscape analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills and willingness to interact, share ideas internally and externally to get things done.
  • With ability to handle multiple tasks, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, and will be able to present to all audiences
  • Regional experience in South East Asia will be an advantage
