Chemist (9 Month Contract), Water Quality Department
Job Description
What the role is:As a Chemist in the Water Quality Department, you will work with a team to ensure good raw water quality for water treatment.What you will be working on:Your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to: 1. Monitor, analyse, evaluate, and report trends and changes in water quality 2. Troubleshoot water quality problems and assist the team in site investigations and water quality testing 3. Assist in compilation and risk assessment of chemical pollutants 4. Assist in managing projects related to raw water 5. Carry out administrative duties and any other related duties as requiredWhat we are looking for:
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably with experience in water quality monitoring or testing \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in IT software for data management and trends analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Motivated, responsible and proactive individual \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written, interpersonal and multitasking skills \xe2\x80\xa2 A team player who is able to work independently Work Location: PUB Waterhub @Toh Guan
