Senior/specialist (raw Water System), Water Quality Department
Job Description
What the role is:As a Water Quality Specialist in the Raw Water System division of Water Quality Department, you will work with a team to implement strategic water quality monitoring programmes for various raw water matrices and to develop innovative and effective measures to improve and safeguard raw water quality.What you will be working on:Your main roles and responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Monitor and perform statistical analyses of raw water quality data. Conduct advanced chemical analysis where appropriate for water samples. Investigate and troubleshoot water quality issues and recommend measures for improvement. Conduct R&D studies to explore new measures and effective technologies to improve raw water quality. Perform any other tasks as assigned.What we are looking for:
- At least Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Chemistry / Biological Chemistry /Environmental Engineering Proficient in common IT software/ platforms for data management and trends analysis. Class 3 or 3A driving licence. Good written, communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work in a team-oriented environment. Meticulous, resourceful, organised, and self-driven with critical thinking skills. Motivated, responsible, and proactive individual.
