Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• As a senior member of the market executive management team, develop, lead and deliver strategic business plan, reflecting appropriately the vision, mission, opportunities and risk

• Proactively advise the CEO and Executive leadership teams on key business decisions through sound commercial judgement highlighting options, trade-offs, risks and opportunities

• Develop, lead and deliver financial and commercial strategies and decisions through evaluation and pursuit of opportunities, potentially including the launch of new business units and acquisitions

• Drive close integration of business units within market through operating the finance function at market level, serving all brands and functions.

• Provide leadership to global investment and Finance team to embed client profitability and excellent judgement in business decision making within the market

• Track performance against internal targets and external best practice, making timely interventions at appropriate times, and driving accuracy in sales, revenue and cost forecasting

• Lead the short and long term budgetary planning and cost management for the market in alignment with global processes

• Visibly sponsor, drive and oversee continuous improvement/change programmes, including the ongoing Accelerated Transformation Programme throughout their implementation to achieve project benefits
  

• Strong industry familiarity

• Experience operating at senior executive leadership team level as a trusted advisor and valued partner

• Experience with changing overall business strategy through investment and finance thought leadership and applications

• Experience working and living in an international environment

• Experience with acquisitions and post-merger integration

• Proven experience of successful collaboration between finance and non-finance teams

• Strong proven leadership capability with experience of developing and managing high performing teams

• Expert level financial analysis

• Fluency in English

• 10-15 years of professional experience working in a fast moving business environment, to include 10+ years of financial and investment management experience

• Graduate degree and/or internationally recognised finance/accounting qualification (i.e. ACA/CA/CPA)
