Chief of Staff - become part of a scale-up with global ambitions

Neso Brands has set out to become the leading house of consumer brands in the eyewear industry. We have massive global ambitions and are backed by the partners to help make the ambitions come true. We are a new entrant in the eyewear space where we will source, invest in, and partner with the most ambitious entrepreneurs on a global scale. Together with the founders and with the combined strength of our team, technology, and capital, we will help scale the ventures internationally. We recently announced funding of more than USD 100 million to get us started on acquiring and investing in companies, and are now building out the team to make it happen.

Tasks

The Role

This position is a key role to ensure the quick ramp-up of the company and reports directly to the CEO. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a person who will thrive working in a collaborative, dynamic environment in a fast-paced, multi-faceted and strategic role. Your responsibility is simple: creatively solve any problem that gets thrown your way with relentless execution. This role is a highly entrepreneurial role with no blueprint. You will take full ownership of both big and small initiatives and set up processes from scratch. You will have the full support of the rest of the team, but you also need to be excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves and taking ownership.

Writing out a detailed list of responsibilities for this role would be futile as they will likely change even before you join - that is the nature of a startup. But here are some examples:

Lead internal project management and administration by driving initiatives such as pipeline reviews, offsite, and portfolio events.

• Set up and optimize our internal processes to streamline operations, pipeline funnel, team meetings, and information sharing
• Evaluate and improve our operational and analytics tools used for sourcing, pipeline management, market insights, and internal operations
• Coordinate and drive our marketing and hiring initiatives, including PR, events, and HR operations.
• Cultivate and support our portfolio of brands in relation to knowledge, talent, and resource sharing
• Build strong relationships with other teams across geographies to nurture great partnerships

Requirements

As a person, you are likely best described as someone who thrives on bringing order to chaos and who believes that "done is better than perfect". You will likely have experience in Operations/EA/Strategy/Project Management, with a degree in business or engineering and a background in either consulting, project management, investments, or at a fast-growing startup.

To thrive in this role you are a driven self-starter \xe2\x80\x94 a self-motivated, multi-talented professional who is detail-oriented, process-minded and, above all, action and results-driven. An entrepreneurial experience would be a great plus, as we welcome concrete initiatives and creative thinking.

We believe you are humble, with high EQ and low ego. A team player who manages through influence, is a tactful communicator and earns trust quickly. In addition, a high level of flexibility is needed as the startup environment means that priorities change fast and new ideas are being evaluated and pursued quickly. Please note that this position is based in Singapore with some international travel required. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a visa for this position.
