Job Description


Automated Trading Strategies (ATS) group is looking for an associate with a focus on electronic trading. We are one of the biggest market makers and execution algo providers globally. Our work is quantitative at its core, with modern electronic trading generating large amounts of data. The objective is to research and implement systematic strategies via extensive use of large data sets and quantitative techniques, including machine learning.

Core responsibilities:

  • Analysis of data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities
  • Formulation, analysis and back testing of pricing, execution, risk management strategies and trading signals
  • Expanding the group's library of modeling, analytics and automation tools; resolving day to day trading issues
Essential skills:

  • Minimum Masters degree in financial or math based subject (math, physics, computer science or other quantitative fields)
  • At least 1 year of experience working within financial markets
  • Excellent research skills
  • Good knowledge of statistics and machine learning
  • Attention to detail, adaptable and hungry to learn
  • Good programming skills in any language

Desirable skills:
  • Interest in market microstructures and quantitative trading
  • Track record of conducting original research
  • Experience in manipulating large amounts of data and implementing machine learning algorithms
