Responsibilities
Customer focus: Act as a dedicated, single point of contact for the client throughout the onboarding process whilst facing-off internally across multiple business lines and partner groups. Transition Managers are responsible for representing clients internally, ensuring their requirements are being met accurately and delivered with a sense of urgency. The Transition Manager is responsible for hosting and running client meetings as well as partnering closely with hedge fund start-ups who often need more guidance and assistance during their infancy.
Relationship management: Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COO's, CEO's, directors and heads of Operations. Liaise with interested third parties such as trading platforms, legal counsels, custodians and consulting firms. Plus managing the pipeline for Middle Office who work directly with client vendors and administrators.
Project management: Own the delivery of a client onboarding from initiation through till go-live. Maintain continued progression throughout the life cycle by working collectively with partner teams on outstanding items. Proactively provide updates to our clients and relevant J.P. Morgan stakeholders on status. Identify potential differences between current J.P. Morgan offering and client requirements and work with client and internal partners to solve.
Internal Partner Coordination: Coordinate across J.P. Morgan teams globally throughout the transition process. In particular, building strong relationships with internal partners, such as Sales and Trading, Credit, Margin Trading, Legal, Account Management, and Middle Office in order to facilitate client timelines. Serve as initial point of escalation for internal support teams and our clients.
