Job Description


As an Operations Change and Project Manager in the global payment change team, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of global initiatives related to real time payments and payment innovations

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver global Initiatives, including instant payments, ISO20022, ecommerce and block chain related
  • Drive and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally on implementing strategic and tactical solution
  • Manage and review operations processes. Leverage on latest technology to optimize operations manual process
  • Oversee fulfilment activities against established procedures and service level agreement
  • Recognize and drive global improvement opportunities arising from local situations
  • Ensure all operation procedures are compliance with industry and legal regulatory rules and guidelines both locally and globally
  • Build exceptional relationship with business partners and stakeholders to drive business agenda
  • Be the spokesperson for business on cross LOB forums and working groups globally
  • Ensure sufficient internal controls and procedures to minimize risk - able to drive the risks and controls agenda including working with local operations managers on external and internal audits/regulatory reviews/inspections
  • Provide regular and formal updates to senior stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in payment operations within the financial services industry or payment technology area
  • Experience and knowledge working on real time payment, cross border payments and ISO20022 are required
  • Experience from trade, securities and derivations operations will be considered
  • Technologically savvy - Good working knowledge in Data Analytics/Data Visualization and/or Intelligent Automation on prior portfolios coverage is an added advantage
  • Strong Project management skill - need to have hands-on working on end to end project execution and delivery
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), ability to create and deliver executive summary and presentations
  • Proactive, strong self-accountability and ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks to minimize loss
  • Adaptable in maintaining standards and adjusting effectively to operate within new work structures and processes
  • Effective time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives
  • Ability to effectively address and manage conflict
  • Strong Risks and Controls mindset.
  • Strong partnership record and team player- ability to build effective relationships to leverage different parts of the organization
