Our Team
Individuals within the Derivatives Clearing in Business Risk team act as the first line of defense. The mandate is to ensure risk is assessed appropriately, within set constraints and balanced attractively relative to reward. The Client base covers all entities that utilize derivatives to represent risk. Clients include Corporates, Pensions, Central Banks, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. As a member of the team you will assist in assessing the risk and resulting economic cost of clients' portfolios. You will work with Sales, Client Service, Clients, and other teams within the bank on a regular basis. In addition the individual will work closely on building out and enhancing the various risk tools. The individual will be presented with many opportunities and challenges.
Your qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or related quantitative field;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Equities, Clearing or Risk function;
- Someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures;
- Bloomberg, Excel, Power Point , MS Office skills and VBA/Python;
- Ability to work with large data sets to create clear and appropriate conclusions;
- Strong understanding of Global macro markets and drivers;
- Time management and multi-tasking skills.
