Job Description

Responsible for the delivery of the learning and development practices and manage the learning and development function for both JEN Singapore Tanglin and JEN Singapore Orchardgateway.

:

• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all training activities and training records and provide management information regarding training needs to key.
• Support hotel audits with essential training records and follow company policy as well as local authority guideline in training related area.
• Conducts New Hire orientation for new employees.
• Plan and organise New Hire Induction for key positions
• Develop Department Trainers\' training & coaching competencies.
• Coordinate the training activities of departmental trainers to ensure their full involvement in both developing and conducting training.
• Assist the Director of Human Resources in preparing the Annual Learning Budget.
• Monitor Training Budget by preparing monthly training expenses report.
• Develop an annual training plan which meets the needs of employees through the Learning Needs Analysis exercise
• Publish an annual and monthly calendar of training courses and ensure maximum attendance through clear communication to and liaison with Head of Department on a regular basis.
• Develop, source and conduct training courses where appropriate to meet requirements.
• Ensure all requests for training by employees are responded to in a timely manner and follow up is conducted where appropriate.
• Monitor the effectiveness of pre and post training evaluation to maximise benefits from training courses and identify future training needs.
• Develop effective links with partnership organisations such as universities and colleges, training provider, other learning and development colleagues etc.

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree with specialization in Human Resource Management or any related discipline preferred
• At least 5 years experience in full spectrum of Learning and Development with ACTA, ACLP or DACE certified
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Enjoys working in a highly empowered and energetic workplace environment
• Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can create engaging presentations and written documents
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
