An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Officer within the Civil Aerospace Customer Regional Team (Asia Pacific). The role will be based in the Singapore Customer Service Centre (\xe2\x80\x9cCSC\xe2\x80\x9d).

KEY ACCOUNTABILIITES

Deliver and support continuous improvement activities for the business and function as required.

Create, develop and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines and contracting framework in line with relevant governance.

Develop and implement Commercial best practice within the business and function.

Interface with specialist departments, as required, within the Company to obtain advice and guidance. Evaluate and apply such advice and guidance as appropriate.

Produce or provide input to innovative solutions to secure profitable and/or strategic business for the Company.

Identify potential risks and liabilities inherent in solutions and/or existing contracts. Negotiate/facilitate contracts to minimise or mitigate same, using judgement in balancing commercial/legal considerations against the requirements of the business, to secure contracts in conformity with Commercial policies and procedures.

If applicable to the role, instruct and administer new and existing business agreements and negotiate resolution of claims, disputes and litigation in order to minimise cost and risk to Civil Aerospace.

Create and deliver the Commercial input into the Civil Aerospace budget/forecasting processes as required.

Develop and manage Commercial relationships, both internally and with external customers, partners and suppliers as required.

Pursue all opportunities to maximise orders, profit and cash for the Company.

Manage or support as appropriate the pricing/business cases to support solutions.

KEY EXPERIENCES AND ANY QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or equivalent qualification.

Well-developed interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, influencing and negotiations skills.

Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus.

Highly motivated and capable of working under own initiative.

Sound Commercial judgement and business acumen.

Proficient in all aspects of administration.

Ability to prioritise workloads to meet demanding deadlines.

Experience of influencing both at a functional and task level, as well as at senior levels of the organisation.

Experience of managing Commercial professionals.
