About the role

This position manages a team of intermediate to experienced professionals in Materials & Logistics, manages departmental budgets, consults on business issues, drives cost reduction activities, ensures quality control, and leads material and inventory audits.

\xe2\x80\x8bKey Responsibilities

As a Commercial Operations Manager\xe2\x80\x8b, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

• Manage and lead the day to day operations, processes & activities of the customer service team
• Assist General Manager/Sales for inventory, backlog & orders/sales forecasting management
• Work with customer service associate with customer complaints/requirement, resolving critical issues or problems by coming up with recommendations of possible solutions
• Obtain regular feedback on service level and help to improve on existing systems, workflows, policies and procedures to ensure consistent customer service and satisfaction
• Review and manage of weekly and monthly reports (e.g. monthly backorder reports, delivery status report, if applicable)
• Participate in Organization continuous improvement process (Achieving Competitive Excellence - ACE).
• Ensure internal process comply with US Sarbanes Oxley\xe2\x80\x99s audit regulations
• Manage train and develop the customer service team and warehousing team.
• Warehousing management
• Logistics management
• Provide backup / support the team, if required
• Prepares management reports \xe2\x80\x93 inventory, order fulfilment & delivery due
• Any other duties assigned in other work areas.

As a minimum you must have:

• At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 of relevant working experience in customer services, warehousing, supply chain and logistics with related industries preferred.
• Possess good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and handle assignments in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven record in successfully leading and improving business processes in an international matrix environment
• Able to work with different levels of staff.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office with good working knowledge in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is a must.
