General Medicine is one of the 3 Global Product Areas and our portfolio encompasses all of GSKs primary care medicines from pre-launch R&D assets in Infectious Diseases like Gepotidacin & Tebipenem to growth products in Respiratory with Trelegy and Anoro and established products like Augmentin, Seretide, and Ventolin. Our combination of
150 products is expected to impact the lives of 700 million patients over the next 10 years. In 2022, we contributed \xc2\xa310 billion sales to GSK (34% of GSK) which continues to fuel GSKs broad investment in Innovation and R&D.

The role:

The Global Commercial Operations Manager plays a critical role to contribute to our overall Global General Medicine ambition by driving performance, culture, and delivery across our portfolio.

The role sits within the Strategy & Operations team and will report to the Global Commercial Operations Director for General Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the facilitation of Monthly Performance Review meetings (MPRs) for General Medicine across EU, GCI and EM and ensure high-quality commercial conversation to drive performance

Run strategic projects to improve commercial and/or operational performance across General Medicine with achievable project milestones, tracking and reporting process for selected projects e.g. annual LRF process in partnership with Finance & commercial teams

Partner with the Global Commercial Operations Director, Medical Operations lead and Commercial Brand Planning leads on the delivery of an efficient and impactful Brand Planning cycle to drive performance & growth in our key brands across the General Medicines portfolio

Partner with the Global Supply Chain team and track top line initiatives across commercial and Global Supply Chain teams; monitor project progress against program timelines, milestones, and success KPIs with stakeholders across commercial, Pharma Supply Chain and medical teams for General Medicine

Support the facilitation of the Global S&OP with the Global Supply chain team to bring monthly commercial reviews to the forum (e.g global scorecard and brand scorecard updates)

Proactively raise improvement potential and execute initiatives to drive performance and efficiency

Drive collaboration and seamless flow of information to ensure full alignment across project teams

Rapid sharing of best practices and ensure fast, clear and consistent implementation of General Medicine strategies & initiatives

Support Project Management capability building via utilization of traditional PM tools and ways of working as well as exploration of innovative approaches

Why you?

Bachelor degree business, marketing or science

Min 8 years of commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry at LOC Level and above country

Experience in project management

Highly capable to drive performance management

Demonstrated leadership

Strong in commercial decision making and execution

Robust problem-solving skills

High personal impact and credibility across all levels of the organisation

Capable of working across boundaries and functional areas and diverse countries and cultures

High resilience and agility
